Das Abstimmungsergebnis über die Änderung der Klassenregel liegt vor

Im Moment gibt es 81% JA- und 19% NEIN-Stimmen. Das Ergebnis wird sich noch geringfügig ändern, da einige Klassenvereinigungen noch nicht geprüft haben, ob die Abstimmenden Mitglieder sind. In Deutschland lag die Abstimmungsbeteiligung leider nur bei knapp 12%. Insgesamt kommt Europa (trotzdem fast 70% der ILCA-Mitglieder Europäer sind) nur auf etwa 1,000 der mehr als 3,000 abgegebenen Stimmen.
